Savannah

 

We started off our day by heading to the North Historic District of the city, near the river.  We saw the spot where Forest Gump sat on the bench, the Georgia Queen steam boat, and walked along River Street. Then, we headed north to South Carolina, having lunch at Hilton Head (the most amazing She-Crab soup!), and then continued in the rain driving through the magical Lowcountry until we finally reached Charleston.
