Blue Ridge Mountains

 

We drove from North Carolina, through Virginia and West Virginia, and finally ended 10 1/2 hours later in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Most of those hours were spent in the Blue Ridge Mountains, which are stunning. We listened to John Denver as we entered West Virginia, drove over the third tallest bridge in the country, Caleb saw 60 deer, and we watched the sunset over the mountains as we entered Pennsylvania.
