Baby Rescue!

While I was walking in the parking garage today I heard a bird chirping. I started whistling back as I walked. When I got near the door it stopped. I stopped as well, looked for it, but couldn't see it. Then I looked down. It was a baby bird who was on the ground right in front of the garage door!

I ran to the recycling bins to get a newspaper, coaxed him onto it, and brought him outside.

My wife then came down, picked him up, and we brought him to his nest which was right above the garage door.

All is well. Good way to start the long weekend.
